RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICY:

All reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking either in person or by credit card over the telephone.  By this notice, Customer agrees and understands that the full amount of the fare will be charged to their credit card in advance to act as a deposit to reserve the boat for them and/or their guests.  Customer further understands that this deposit is non-refundable unless the captain cancels the trip due to bad weather or breakdown.  Further, deposits will NOT be moved to a later date for rescheduled or cancelled reservations.

Credit cards will be charged if the customer does not cancel their reservations within 24 hours of the trip.  Please note:  Trips will run in the rain!  If the captain cancels the trip due to inclement weather, a sales associate will contact you to reschedule the trip.

Logic:  All boats have a maximum seating capacity as designated by the United States Coast Guard.  When a reservation is made, the space is held for that customer, and other customers are turned away once the boat reaches capacity.  In addition, on a busy day, a second boat and crew may be scheduled to make everyone more comfortable if there are too many passengers.  On a slow day, the cancellation of seats can make the difference in having enough passengers to cover the fuel and crew costs so that it affects whether or not it makes sense for the boat to leave the dock.  In other words, cancellation of seats could also mean that the entire trip might be cancelled and that everyone else will be sent home without getting to go fishing.  In order to avoid inconveniencing everyone else, the passenger who makes a reservation and doesn't show must pay for the seats that were held.  It is our sincere hope that everyone who makes a reservation shows up to have a great time and experience the wonderful fishing, beautiful waters, and plentiful sea life that makes Destin so popular.
